Dr. Omobolaji Olutimehin is a board Certified Family Medicine Physician who has practiced in the Emergency Room for many years. She graduated from the College of Medicine, University of Lagos in 1985. She completed Family Medicine Residency training at the University of Texas (McGovern) Medical school in Houston Texas.
“Dr. O“ was a Family Medicine Faculty with the UT Medical school Dept of Family Medicine and trained Resident Physicians for over a decade. She held leadership positions including the Chief of Family Medicine Service at the LBJ General Hospital in Houston for many years.
Dr. O‘s leadership experience include being a member of several hospital committees including Peer review, LBJ Medical Executive Committee, LBJ Chiefs of Services committee, Patient Experience(Patient satisfaction) committee, and LBJ Risk and quality Review Advisor.
Dr. O was awarded Harris health Physician Champion of the Quarter, third quarter. Her other awards include for the ED Physician of the
Quarter, first quarter. Also the Dean’s teaching Excellence Award in
2007-2008, 2014-2015 as well as 2016-2017.
Dr. O’s Health Management Training include certification earned at the University of Texas, School of Public health, Fleming Center for Health Care Management in October 2015 to January 2016.
Dr. O is uniquely committed to the area. She recently moved to the Katy Gaston area and is committed to contributing to the health and wellbeing of residents in the neighborhood.
